Meeting of the Espana Moto Guzzi Club in Torredembarra

The day of the meeting, organised by the Espana Moto Guzzi Club, was getting closer and closer. The weather forecast predicted bad weather and there was also the danger of roads being closed. Saturday morning the first Guzzis arrived at the camp site Relax Sol, the place where the Guzzi camp was built up just like it was the years before.

In the afternoon only most of the members reached the place of events and right away everybody was talking about their motorbikesand God and the world along with a nice cold beer.

The police escorted the ride with our Guzzis as usual and it started in the port of Torredembarra where we were welcomed and invited out by representatives of the city hall. This dragged out until we were ready to set off to the next destination of our meeting, the Calcotada. And again were we escorted by the police just like VIPs but obviously we were VIPs.

In the restaurant Roses the most important part of our meeting started .??.

??. the pleasure-loving consumption of these wonderful calcots ( a specialty of Catalonia ) that were prepared so lovely by Juan.

The night at the bar Hecatombe was getting really long because Angel, the owner of the bar wrapped everybody up with his stories and everybody had plenty of topics to discuss. At last it was a week end marked by the real taste of Guzzis, shrouded in the ambience of camaraderie, the taste of the calcotada and the beautiful scenery of Catalonia.

Great thanks to the inhabitants of Torredembarra for their exemplary hospitality. It makes us feel like going there again next year.
