Guzzi on top of the peaks

There is no place in this world that could not be discovered by a Guzzi. There is no place too high for this beloved brand !

Our Guzzi is capable of nailing one's colors to the mast anywhere in the world!

I have always been dreaming of offering the great panorama of the Alps to my T3 California on top of one of their marvellous peaks.I have always wanted to offer her the great view as you can see in the picture below. Oh what a beautiful alpenglow!

The geographic formations of the Alps with all the peaks, glaciers, and plateaus are a great challenge for us. But where there is a Guzzi there is a will and where there is a Guzzi-will there are ways and solutions. Here is one out of many solutions to the problem:

"how do I get my Guzzi on top of a peak of the Alps?" Since I was not successful in convincing the government of Switzerland, Austria, and Italy of building roads that lead to each peak of the Alps so we could ride our Guzzis there and show them the great panorama, I had to find a different solution. I simply brought our club T-shirts up to the peak of the Alps!

With every meter getting closer to the top I offered the T-shirt of the 5th international meeting in Alcorisa the marvellous view.

My T-shirt was totally soaked by the climb up to the altitude of 2500 meters and the sun that was reflected by the snow.

Last stop at the altitude of 2800 meters right before the climb to the peak, which can be seen in the background at an altitude of 3000 meters. The T-shirt of the 5th international meeting in Alcorisa was still being sweaty but it deserved to get to the peak.

Finally on the peak! The E.M.G.C. and its T-shirt on the peak at an altitude of 3000 meters accompanied by three alpinists of our group and myself. Our club reaches any place in the world. One for all - all for one !

After the descent the T-shirt of the 5th international meeting had to make room for the next T-shirt. As you can see the T-shirt of the RUTA DEL EMPERADOR took over the next shift. This T-shirt had an easier job than the first one: it was responsible for the descent to 1200 meters.

Finally back to civilization! According to my definition civilization means a place where you can have a cold beer. Here I indulged in a new T-shirt with our Guzzi eagle printed on it and it replaced the RUTA DEL EMPERADOR.

The Alps do not offer our T-shirts snow only, but also heat and lonely worlds in the summer where our T-shirts can relax and recover. These worlds are of great nature especially when they are located near the mother house in Mandello. To get there a lot of passes have to be surmounted like the pass of Bernadino.

After the way down the pass of Bernadino we set our club flag in the valley of Maggia.

We crossed the Lake of Como...

...on a ferry...

..... to climb the Alps afterwards, where there are the great springs of the rivers of the Alps in which our sweaty T-shirtscan be washed. In super cold streams at an altitude of 2000 meters...

... in which you can refresh yourself.
